Taking influence from turn-of-the-century shades, the Getaway’s ultra-thick frame is sharp edged with deep-dish bevelling around the lenses. Nautical star details on the frame’s front are complemented by bespoke monogrammed temples and signature hardware on the tips.
German-engineered five-barrel hinges. Biodegradable acetate construction. ‘Purple Nylon’ lenses. 100% recycled stainless steel detailing. Branded hard-case included.

These sunglasses are really high quality. They are robust and heavy duty. The lenses seem to block the UV rays well. The carrying case is very nice as well.
For the price (on sale for around $150) I didn’t expect to see made in China on the side. Though the craftsmanship and quality is top notch, coming from China where everything is made cheaply devalues the product to me.
Appearance they are stylish, but the model used in the ads has a smaller face that fits these shades well. In the pictures, they seem like they would be a similar size to Ray Bans, but in fact are a bit smaller.
All in all I’m happy with the purchase. Clocks & Colours has and will have my business in the future as they do make superb wear.
