    As much as I love C+C and all their products and colognes, I heavily CANNOT justify the price of $180 for this much cologne that barely last even an hour. It has a beautiful scent too which is crazy to me. Heavily recommend all their other colognes or at least not buying this size and getting the sample size then you’ll see what I mean.

While our fragrances are oil based extracts and formulated for long lasting performance, everyone's body is different and this can effect the longevity of the scent. Your personal skin chemistry can impact projection and sillage. The same way a fragrance can smell different on different people, it can also perform differently between individuals. To help improve longevity, we recommend applying a thin layer of unscented moisturizer or petroleum jelly to the skin before spraying.

    Good Stuff

    I didn't realize there was a new cologne until I was shopping around to restock on the Nocturne. Amidst the lineup, I am definitely using this as my go to for nighttime outings

    unique, peppery and musky

    The Madagascar black pepper is definitely noticeable, the opening is spicy but specifically peppery. It's nice, and it dries down into a more musky, masculine smell. Doesn't stand out too much, I do prefer it over the nocturne and dusk which both are very nice but way too "old man" smelling for me. Performance wise this doesn't last nearly as long as those two, could still smell dusk on my wrist days later. For my money Ember is still the best smelling one, but I could see myself wearing this regularly. It is inoffensive enough to work perfectly as a daily scent like advertised. 4/5 only because for what I've seen so far, I don't think this lasts long enough or is unique enough to warrant 180 for a 50ml bottle. I'll be testing out this sample more though
